Looking Back
My son with his mother (my wife, if you haven’t been paying attention) on an antique carousel in Baltimore. This is one of the few times I am able to capture my wife with a camera - she has a sixth sense about where I’m pointing my camera, and she often successfully avoids the shutter. Additionally, this is one of the rare serious moments I’ve recorded of my son, who is often laughing or making some goofy face. But the thing I love most about this shot is the fact that my son is looking for me as he is traveling around the carousel. He spots me and holds me in his gaze for as long as he can.
